Microsoft Innovative Teachers’ Awards
Every year Microsoft acknowledges exceptional visionary
teachers who have introduced innovative technologies in
imaginative ways into the curriculum to support students
and improve learning outcomes for tomorrow.
This year, eight teachers (one individual winner from each
state and territory) will be recognised and rewarded through
Microsoft's Innovative Teachers Award. This year's Innovative
Teachers will fly to the Microsoft Asia Pacific Innovative
Teachers Forum in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 9-11 June 2009. A national
winner will also be selected from this group to attend the
Worldwide Microsoft Innovative Teachers Conference in 2009.
So remember, this award is much more about innovation than
resources, so it doesn't matter if you're using a little
ICT or a lot, it's the inspiration and innovation that matter.
