Student Master Index

The IT Services team celebrated the successful implementation and rollout of the Student Master Index which will greatly streamline the way 35,000 students have information about enrolment, attendance and achievement recorded and accessed. Teachers and administrators will also benefit from this slick application that brings together information about students from a variety of sources. A big round of thanks to all in the IT Services team, SAMS experts and schools who assisted in the successful rollout of this landmark application.

Welcome to the Student Master Index. DET's new application for teachers and administrators to search for and view student records. Click on any of the images to view related videos. Teachers and administrators can view Student History which is a summary collection of standard information held about each student. Student History reports are generated by the Data Warehouse. The Student Master Index also provides a link to the Student Learning Profile.

If you have delegate authority, you will be able to transfer students between schools.	For principals and their delegates the Student Master Index provides a one stop shop to locate and transfer students between schools.
