The Northern Territory Department of Education and Training
(DET) is committed to protecting all personal information
which we hold. This is in accordance with the Information

Use and disclosure of personal information collected by
DET
We only collect, store and use personal information that
is necessary for us to perform our functions and to provide
our services. In providing these services, we assume that
you consent to our use of your personal information to provide
you with the services you have requested and to allow us

use of your personal information by third parties which we
engage or contract to provide the services on our behalf.
In other circumstances, we will endeavour to obtain your

- we can prevent a serious and imminent threat to your
or another individual's life, health or safety;
- we can prevent a serious threat to public health or

or breach of a prescribed law.

We take all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised
