What is the NT Schools Portal?
The NT Schools portal is a single point of access to information,
communication, collaboration and online resources relevant
to individual users and their school. All schools have their
own individual portal. There are two global tabs attached
to each individual schools portal. The NT
Sites tab allows ntschools users and DET users across
the NT to collaborate with each other through team sites.
The Resources
tab allows ntschools users and DET users access to search
for NT Resources.

Who has access?
All users in the ntschools domain have access to their own
individual school portal. This includes all staff, all students
and potentially parents of the school.
DET corporate users can be added to individual school portal
sites on requests via the schools principal.

How to access
your individual school Portal?
The url for the portal is <https://portal.ntschools.net/sites/schoolcode>
(For example : https://portal.ntschools.net/sites/alawasch)
Logging
on with NTSCHOOLS account or with a DET account.

Portal
Administrators
Each school has a portal administrator who has been trained
in order to add user permissions and create school sites for
collaboration.

There is a Portal Administrators collaboration Site in the
NT Sites section of the portal. This site is for getting information,
help files, sharing information and asking any portal questions.

Portal Stories
Individual schools have been using the portal for many different
purposes. It allows schools to communicate with their whole
school community in one place. Schools have developed collaboration
team sites for staff and students and have been able to collaborate
across schools in the NT.
