Innovative Teachers Award

Each year Microsoft's Partners in Learning acknowledge exceptional visionary teachers who have introduced innovative technologies in imaginative ways into the curriculum to support students and improve learning outcomes for tomorrow.

This year, eight teachers (one individual winner from each state and territory) will be recognised and rewarded through Microsoft's Innovative Teachers Award. This year's Innovative Teachers will fly to the Microsoft Asia Pacific Innovative Teachers Forum in Singapore. A national winner will also be selected from this group to attend the Worldwide Microsoft Innovative Teachers Conference in 2010.

National Secondary School Computer Fund

The following instructions identify the process to be followed so that DET IT Services can order your school’s Dell computers.

Firstly ensure that your school has a Dell account (username is your email address) so that online quotes can be obtained.

Registrars and Principals who do not have an account should send an email to ITManagementServicesGroup.DET@nt.gov.au You will receive an email from DELL advising you of your password.

The online service can be accessed at http://apac.premier.dell.com and includes details of available models and specifications. If you experience problems with accessing the website please contact Melissa Gough at DELL on 02 89725732.

Obtain quote online:

  • Go to the DELL Premier website at http://apac.premier.dell.com
  • Click on the Sign in button and enter your account email and password details.
  • Select the equipment you need.
  • Click Add to Cart and change the quantity to the number of computers you need.
  • Click Update Total and ensure your details are correct.
  • Click Save as E-Quote. Enter details in all required fields.
  • For Authorized Buyer enter Bob Creek (bob.creek@nt.gov.au) and for additional email recipients please enter: ITManagementServicesGroup.DET@nt.gov.au
  • At the Ship To heading, click Ship to different address.
  • Click Add a new Address and fill in fields as required. The delivery address must be a street address because DELL cannot deliver to a PO Box number.
    Submit.
  • At the Trade Compliance heading, click the drop-down menu and select Commercial/Office for Question 1 and leave Question 2 as these products will be used at the listed Ship-To Address.
  • Click Continue, then click View E-Quote.
  • Print your quote and keep a copy for your records.
